As the World Cup approaches, Canadians are starting to consistently produce quality outings against opponents. The men from up north are in Bermuda and have yet to lose a game. Mississauga Rambler, Sandeep Jyoti has impressed with the bat and the ball. He cracked a 50 off 40 balls, including five-fours and three-sixes against Argentina. Riizwan Cheema has also been in hot form. The stand-in skip has impressed with the bat and has lead the way in all 3 wins for Canada so far. A successful tournament would just be what Canada needs ahead of the World Cup! Keep in mind, they are also without the services of Ashish Bagai who is resting ahead of the busy schedule.
